dc.description.abstract | The greatest threat to health workers' safety at work is violence from patients and visitors. Verbal abuse is the most prevalent form of violence which can be mitigated by healthy workplace environments. Approximately 50% of healthcare workers reported experience at least one instance of physical or psychological violence.
