Description: Haledon Hall at Paterson State College in 1959. Today renamed Hobart Manor and a national historical site, the building was home to the family of Garret A. Hobart, 24th Vice President of the United States, from 1902 until 1948. Mrs. Garret Hobart Jr. (Caroline Frye) sold the entire estate to the State of New Jersey in 1948 and it became the new home of Paterson State Teachers' College.
